Aggression, War Crimes, Ethics, and the War in Ukraine

It is a key ethical issue that this is a war of aggression, and from an international law standpoint, the crime of aggression is distinct from other war crimes.
Have Russian leaders committed the crime of aggression? Have Russian soldiers (and leaders) committed war crimes in Ukraine? Does the U.S. have an ethical duty to support Ukraine, and does that include an ethical duty to help Ukraine achieve military victory against Russia? Is there a moral equivalence between the U.S. invasion of Iraq in 2003 and the Russian invasion of Ukraine in 2022?
