The health and safety of our community is of utmost importance to SCU. In response to the rapidly changing events surrounding COVID-19, known as novel coronavirus, Santa Clara has made the difficult but prudent decision to cancel or postpone many University events through at least mid-April.  While there are no known cases (confirmed or suspected) on our campus, this decision was made to proactively inhibit further spread of the infection.

This will impact the University's reception and program in Portland on March 25 at the Marriott Portland Downtown Waterfront which has been cancelled. We feel disappointed and plan to return to Portland as soon as possible. The University did not make this decision lightly but did so out of an abundance of caution for the safety and well-being of all involved. As an event registrant, we will keep you informed as we're able to reschedule this event at a later date.
