The Santa Clara University Engineers Without Borders chapter is hosting its 8th Annual 5K for $5K Run!

Santa Clara University's Engineers Without Borders chapter is hosting its 8th Annual 5K for $5K Run to support the chapter's projects. This year we have a new and exciting project with a community in Hope Arkansas! Our organization's goal is to help install a stormwater management solution at Northside Park — currently prone to flooding — so the City can move forward with planned improvements, including a splash pad, under its “Hope for the Future” plan. We are also currently working in collaboration with the campus's thrift store, Bucky's Closet, to reinforce clothing racks so that more clothes can be hung up and sold. By joining EWB-SCU for a 5K run, you will be supporting not only these amazing projects, but also the aspiring engineers at SCU to gain hands-on technical skills and training in human-centered design thinking.

This race is both virtual and in-person, so feel free to choose your own course if you can't join us in person! If you can make it in person we will reach out with more details closer to the event.
